NEWDEAL Project

The NEW DEAL project aims to develop a highly selective and local therapy with an improved efficacy and safety profile for IBD patients. This treatment might be an alternative to the existing therapies.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluation of Immunotoxicological effect of cationic lipid nanoparticles on primary mouse macrophages and dendritic cells.

  • Co-culture of dendritic cells with T cells to evaluate the effect of cationic lipid nanoparticles on Antigen presentation.

  • Delivery of JAK1-siRNA to primary immune cells using lipid nanoparticles and downstream functional assay to evaluate the gene modulation.

NANOGLIO Project

The NANOGLIO project aims at inducing a specific antitumor response by delivering immunomodulatory agents to the tumor lesions. The expectation is to identify promising nanosystems (nDDSs) to deliver anti-GBM candidates for future therapeutic implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluation of Immunotoxicological effect of Amphiphilic Dendrimers on primary mouse macrophages and dendritic cells.

  • Co-culture of dendritic cells with T cells to evaluate the effect of Amphiphilic Dendrimers on Antigen presentation.

  • Delivery of therapeutic siRNA to primary immune cells using Amphiphilic Dendrimers.

CellNanoTox Project

The CellNanoTox project address the needs of the European society and industry for assessing the risk of occupational and general population exposure to industrially manufactured Nano Particles.
